I saw you in the dark

In the thundering silence

 You are like a delicate orchid blooming in the shade,

Your starry-eyed show how it is fishing for compliments.

 

You became the apple of my eye,

Some say you are the thorn among the rose

But that’s not what your action shows.

 

Your rosy cheeks, red lips, perfect nose

And smile that can make my heart skip a beat
